Maths and History

Ugh.
Such a tiring day. Maths was all right-ish, that is, Higher. There was one question I couldn't do, that involved the equation for a circle and prove that A and B are the values given in such and such an unfactorisable quadratic, and it was only worth two marks, but I couldn't figure it out. Everything else went all right - there was one weird question that came out to minus a third, but I think it was all right - and blah, it was okay. Not too awful.

History paper one - my hands hurt. They really, really hurt. Eleven sides in an hour and three quarters is just cruel. Again, the questions weren't too bad, but still. Ugh.

I don't really have much to say. Classics Literature paper tomorrow, and French in the afternoon, but seeing as it's such a short paper I should be out of school by two. I guess I'll have to read the texts for Classics tonight, as I've done precisely no revision for it, and to be perfectly honest, who needs to? It's the easiest exam there is.

I'm so tired. Might just go to sleep for a while - makes sense to me.

Uhh... what exam board do you do? I found it AWFUL! And I don't remember the 'values of A and B' question you described... equation for a circle? I really failed that exam -- didn't even answer every question. Fuck...

Did you have a question about a cone with the top chopped off, and was the back page a sine or cosine graph question?

No, my love. I did AQA Higher, there was one question about cones but I don't think it was the same one, and the back page question was about upper and lower bounds. I get the feeling we didn't do the same paper...

I really, *really* hope they lower the grade boundaries. Or that I did well on the other paper.
