The Alphabet Agencies
May. 22nd, 2003 05:28 pmI have one paragraph to go before I finish the whole America section on History paper 2. Goddamn Republicans, who take up at least half of it - if it weren't for them and their family-value whining, my syllabus would be half the size.
But yes, I have finished with isolation, the Roaring Twenties, the economic boom, the Wall Stree Crash, Hoover's failure to deal with Depression and Roosevelt's New Deal, particularly the Alphabet Agencies (AAA, CCC, NRA, WPA and TVA). The one remaining paragraph deals with the Second World War, I think, and then that's it for America.
All this would be much more exciting if it weren't for the fact I still have Germany and the international history sections to go.
I may go on to Biology next. I guess I'll have to revise, because I refuse to be mediocre, blah blah angelcakes. If I fail it, I'll fail it. I'll get nought. If I don't, I'll have to get an A*. I hate being average. So it means I have to revise for my own self-respect.
I hate self-respect as a concept. It causes me so much inconvenience.
I'm tired. I've just been making out an exam timetable (for some reason, the AQA one isn't in chronological order, it's in alphabetical order, god knows why) and trying to figure out when I'm doing stuff and when I'm not.
Tomorrow, I am going to see The Matrix Reloaded. I am.
_detroit - I don't think it's showing at the Plaza. Will you email me or something, 'cause I think we'll have to go to Southport to see it. I'll text Becca later to see what she thinks.
Am currently reading this and giggling sporadically because it's so weird it's funny.
Bored. Really bored. Sick of revision 'n' stuffs.
