As I always am on a Saturday morning, I am pissed off.
My mother is of course the reason.

The not-Divali gathering is tonight, and my mother's fairly stressed and taking it out on me because I'm the only one in the house. I'm mainly pissed off because for once I've been revising all morning, and she's decided she doesn't want me to, after nagging, nagging, nagging all through Easter. She's too busy making me dust fucking chairs that no-one's going to look at and trying to make me wear a salwar kameez (fuck, no). To make things worse Mani and her family are coming up here later this afternoon - actually, in about an hour and a half - and then I'll really have to play host, and I don't want to at all. To make things worse I have a feeling Mani and I will have nothing to talk about, and they're here until Monday which means any more revision time will just go out of the window. I'm going to kill my mother, I'm going to lose my oldest friend, and I'm going to fail my French oral, in that order.

Fuck.
