neth_dugan said, quite understandably, that there should be fic. The Doctor telling bedtime stories... well, the cuteness of the mental imagery killed me. So, here we have my bedtime-story-themed fic. Self-indulgent fluff that I have to admit I was unconsciously drafting in the latter stages of synoptic Politics, so all faults, typos and otherwise weirdy bits are, as always, mine.
NB - there is a very minor spoiler for The Parting of the Ways, and that squeaking sound you can hear is me forcing canon down the toilet with a sink plunger.
