raven: [hello my name is] and a silhouette image of a raven (free love [piefunkle])
Again, I'm posting by email but hope it will actually work this time. I'm actually sitting in a Lower Four Latin lesson. I've said before that's it's remarkably unfair that we never got to do stuff on the computer. Latin on the computer does seem something of an oxymoron, but what can I say? I seem to be older than I was. Miss Gow is as cute as ever, and I ought not to have written that sentence when she's in the room and could feasibly read over my shoulder, but still. She was telling me about the translation they're doing and asked me if I remembered it. I do. "Metella is in the atrium. There is a painter in the dining-room. The painter is painting a picture. Caecillius looks at the picture. Caecillius praises the picture." They're still not quite at the past tense level, or the pronoun level for that matter.

Enough about Latin. My morning has been far from eventful. Politics was more interesting than usual, but I was still bored. The class are boring and apathetic and for lack of a better word, stupid. I'd like so much to do the subject with people like the ones I do science with. But unfortunately there's nothing I can do about it.

Biology was all right, though. I always like Wednesdays because we're in the Physics room, and it's all cute because we're squashed up in there. I don't know why I'm talking about that. It's boring.

Ah, Miss Gow is so cute. She asked me to stop typing for a moment because they were watching a two-minute video, and so apologetically. So cute.

I'm sorry this entry is so disjointed, but it's hard for me to concentrate. In school, there's always something to distract me. I don't really have anything to do except write this, as my homework is not something I can concentrate on, and I haven't gone down to the library today for some reason. We don't go to the Stroke Association until just before two. That is, Emma and me. I have to remember to find out what's on at the SBC cinema at the weekend, as I think Becca, Bev, Emma and me will go to see Down With Love. I'll forget, but anyway. Tomorrow is Thursday and I hate Thursday. Argh.

I think I'll go the library now. This lesson is too cute, but I shall force myself to depart.

So it seems the post by email thing is working, but I need to remember to stop it with "--" and get rid of the horrible signature/footnote.

Since then, absolutely zilch has happened. Becca, Emma and I went out for lunch as usual, and as predicted, there were no gingerbread bats now that Hallowe'en is over.

Ah, can't be bothered updating. Nothing happened. Not even at the Stroke Association, though I have to admit it was better than usual and I even got out on time.

My grandmother is being annoying in the extreme. I'm not a child. There are more purposes to education other than getting me out of the house all day. Food is not the be-all and end-all of the universe. When other people are on the phone, it's not nice to eavesdrop. When you don't know anything about the topic of conversation, don't give your opinion!

Seriously. She has an opinion on everything, from quantum mechanics to lycanthropy to broken hyperlinks to the manufacture of suphur trioxide. Aaaargh. I don't talk about things I know nothing about.

I want to finish reading The Fifth Elephant again. Unfortunately I have to work.
