Tea and memes
Sep. 16th, 2003 06:17 pmYes, I'm still far from healthy, but I won't bore you all with the details. I didn't go to school, and my mother didn't go to work, as she still has back/neck pain. We had a pleasant morning, as she read her handbook of clinical medicine and I did my Chemistry and English, and she was remarkable reasonable the whole day, not complaining when I spent the rest of the day trying to write - "trying" is the operative word, as I seem to have lost the ability to verbalise - reading (Discworld again, natch) and doing a spot of beta-ing for
gamesiplay. However, my mother did decide she was going to try and make me drink tea. It wasn't ordinary tea, she said. It was some sort of infusion, with odd ingredients - blackcurrant, vanilla and ginseng - and while it smelt wonderful it didn't taste of anything. Which just about sums up tea in general for me. I threw it down the sink.
I will go to school tomorrow, as it's a half day for me - lessons until twelve, then community service, which I don't have as the Stroke Association are on an outing to Aintree Racecourse. I'll probably drag myself home and do all the copying-up for the lessons I missed today.
And now, a friends meme: ( because I love friends memes - who doesn't? )
