My fingernails are coated in yellow highlighter. Ugh.

In other news, I stayed up nauseatingly late last night and my alarm went off at half six. I was sleeping so deeply that I can't remember getting out of bed, switching off the alarm, going downstairs. My memory only comes back into focus at the point I discovered my mother had in fact been up since twenty to four. As my only purpose in getting up was making sure she did, I wished her good luck and went to bed.

I don't know why I was sleeping so deeply again, but I slept straight through until morning. If you can call eleven morning.

I think Becca, my mother and me are going to see Two Week's Notice tonight, if I can get cinema listings for the damn cinema.

And that is that. I will get dressed in a moment, and I think I may do some work on the Flagg fic. I was blocked last night and talking to purplerainbow about it - she now wants me to send her the completed fic, which I will do, but I have a feeling it's not going to be one of my finest hours.
What was I thinking, thinking I could pull this off? The problem is of course the deeply dark/angsty nature of the challenge, as opposed to the screwball humour suggested by Flagg being in the fic.

Ugh. Maybe things will be clearer when I've taken a shower.

Crucify

So, I am updating for lack of anything else to do, though I will have to ring Southport Tourist Information in a moment, as well as eat chocolate Pop Tarts and watch the M*A*S*H episode Movie Tonight.
I have been trying to write, and not doing too badly, but I think I should stop now before I lose the elusive "it." The day hasn't been too bad so far. I might even do some work.
What else? I have taken a bunch of people off my friends list for a variety of reasons, but if you're reading this, then not you.
I have downloaded some Tori Amos songs. I never listened to her properly before, but I've decided I love "Crucify." I think I'll listen to it one more time before departing downstairs. It's very quiet in this part of the world today.
