One down, fifteen to go. Or thereabouts. As per usual, I screwed up English reading. I don't know how I do it. The writing was all right but nothing special... as in nbext to no style... just a serviceable essay.
They wrote September 10th instead of January 10th on the boards. It bothered me until they changed it.

We had lunch early, as exams start early, and I know next to know Chemistry. My treat to myself is a little slash... reading, not writing... and then back to ions tests.

I think.

Well...
English was rather a non-starter. As you can see from the last post, my last remnants of English grammar/punctuation/spelling left me during the morning. I haven't failed my English... but still. My specialist subject, which I invariably make a crisis out of, every year. Except it isn't a year, it's less than six months since my last set of exams, and less than six months until my next set.

Chemistry... well, my lack of revision was less of a problem than I thought it would be. What was a problem was the fact large portions of it were utterly new to me. I don't believe Mrs Williams at times... the other Chemistry set are doing much better than we are, and that's without Mrs Colvin (she has cancer, I think). Madness. I couldn't believe how physically tiring the exam was. I mean, two and a half hours in one place is going to be tiring, but still...

I drifted home when it was over, by way of the library because Becca wanted to go, and we met Meg and Charlene (Becca had a bitchfit over Charlene...) and later I met [livejournal.com profile] eniddy and a few other people on the station.

It was a beautiful day. Freezing cold, of course, but blue skies, and I only noticed when I was walking home.

Three things more.

Firstly, Pedar's back, and one of the pharmaceutical companies has given him the coolest thingit ever. It's a tiny whiteboard with marker and eraser, to stick onto the top of your computer monitor and remind yourself of stuff with. I love it.
It currently has "This is fabulousness..." written on it...

Secondly, the Amazon parcel has arrived, according to my mother, who picked it up this morning. She still has it, and she isn't home yet, so I can't be sure if it's the right parcel, but if it is, it's two weeks early. I'm amazed.

Thirdly... I can't believe I didn't notice [livejournal.com profile] scarlatti's new icon. Where did you get that?
