Modem

Look at me, awake so early on a Saturday morning! I actually got up at eight.
Amazing.
And my mother thinks it's a good, fantastic idea to Go Shopping For The Good Of Mankind, or something like that, and of course I have to come, so lalalala, I'm going. Can't do any shopping of my own, of course. I am greatly displeased by all of this.
And the modem is still plugged into the wrong computer, so I can't post any fic or upload any icons. I even wrote part 2 of the M*A*S*H one and everything.
They're showing the M*A*S*H film on normal tv tonight... I know I'll forget, but I do really want to watch it. It's on BB2, I think, at 11.40.
Anyway. In the meantime, I have to go out. Oh, well, whatever, nevermind.

List

So, I'm taking the advice of several people and using the BBC's Bitesize thingit to revise from. At least I don't have to move from the computer.

Today was not a complete washout or anything approaching it, but it wasn't brilliant and I feel a wave of depression coming on. I even made a list, today... a list of things I want to buy when I have the time.... note, not money, just time.

I did buy something today... a black hooded woollen thing that's quite nice, but not fun. The things in the list are fun. Not one of them is something I need... I just want them. Particularly the Emily Strange stuff.
And now... more revision. Oh, yippee. I'm so sick of it. And I know I've done next to no work, and it begins to bother me.

Orange pips

Between revision and not-revision, there's always...

Sigh.

There's always throwing orange pips at the bin. Which is what I have been doing steadily for the last half an hour or so, beyond chatting to lilka.

And skimming through M*A*S*H quotes. I think the best one I've heard today was:

"We've been in worse spots. Have you ever got dressed in a dark closet with a pocket full of change?"

And there were a few others I'd read...

"Please excuse these two, they're themselves today."

And two more that I didn't realise were M*A*S*H quotes to begin with...

"Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice. Take down your pants and slide on the ice."

And Becca's perennial favourite...

"I'm not as think as you drunk I am!"
