So, I'm taking the advice of several people and using the BBC's Bitesize thingit to revise from. At least I don't have to move from the computer.
Today was not a complete washout or anything approaching it, but it wasn't brilliant and I feel a wave of depression coming on. I even made a list, today... a list of things I want to buy when I have the time.... note, not money, just time.
I did buy something today... a black hooded woollen thing that's quite nice, but not fun. The things in the list are fun. Not one of them is something I need... I just want them. Particularly the Emily Strange stuff.
And now... more revision. Oh, yippee. I'm so sick of it. And I know I've done next to no work, and it begins to bother me.

- Emily Strange top - "I want you to leave me alone."
- Another top from Grin - "I'm only wearing black until they come up with something darker" comes to mind.
- Bracelets. Lots of them.
- Those baggy pink 'n' blue denim jeans I like, with the trailing fringes and loops.
- Badges. About ten of them.
- That patch - "No victim, no crime."
- A nice, ridiculous, leather wrist-cuff-thingit with pointlessly large spikes. Because I want it.
- A sandwich. A footlong one, with pizza sauce and chicken and lettuce and extra cheese.

on 2003-01-06 10:19 am (UTC)Everyone needs to buy a few "fun things" for themselves once in a while. Since we're on a budget because of the new house and new car, we have a list of things and we take turns buying from the list. This month, it's my turn to choose which DVD, video game, CD, and book we're purchasing. Next month, it will be his. Sometimes we split the items, as he belongs to a DVD club and I belong to a CD club.

on 2003-01-06 01:21 pm (UTC)I could revise any one of English language, English Literature, History, Classics, Maths, French, Physics, Biology, Chemistry or Drama.
I was actually doing Maths... but as I said, lots of choice. It really never stops.
