Well tried...

I just got "Well tried" on a maths paper. That hasn't happened since I was about seven and "finding school difficult." Yay for being a complete lazy cow...

Hannah, Em and Clare have their mocks starting today - poor, poor children. They are apparently doing Chemistry this morning. What's everyone doing on Friday? I'm not getting the bus back to school, myself - I figured I'd go into Liverpool myself and have a look round.

I want to try and write some M*A*S*H slash today. This is going to be fun!

(eniddy and lilka are arguing behind me about the slash in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Poor Enid, being corrupted on all sides...)

It's not been such a great day. Spend most of it with Becca for a change. She was talking, and going through her hate-everyone-they're-all-horrible phase. But I did find out she's going to town on the Christmas shopping day with Katrina. Which obviously means I can't go.
I don't know why I hate Katrina (queenkatrina) so much. Actually, I do. She's a bitch, a liar and a thief. She goes out of her way to piss me off, and she lets Becca believe she's an angel, innocent as the day she was born. She's not, of course. She's utterly unscrupulous, conniving, and she'll do anything to get her own way. I guess she hates me because I don't believe she's an angel. However, she is an overgrown variety of pond scum and doesn't really deserve all the time I've spent talking about her, so to continue...

snowdrop24 has been planning something about Amanda Tapping and a convention. I don't know whether I want to go or not. She also seems to think I wasn't checking my email today - I was, but the computers were slow and Hotmail was down...

I don't know what to do on Friday, either. Might go to town with eniddy, which will be fun, but I hope we can persuade osiris13 or purplerainbow to come with us.

I have done my maths coursework, and now have to do my biology. I'm cold, and my head hurts, and I get the feeling what I've been writing here hasn't made a whole lot of sense. I don't know if it all makes coherent sense, and I apologise if it doesn't, but I don't believe I'm thinking straight.

sprog lent me a Foo Fighters CD today. Think I'll go listen to that...

Changed layout

Okay... am very proud. I have a new layout! Lookit!

To be more honest, I never change my basic layout. I just change the specifics, like the background picture, the title bar, the colours...
I hardly even change my comments links. I think I've only had ever three different sets of comments links in my entire LiveJournal career. I haven't changed them this time - I have changed the colours, the title bar and the background pic. So go look!

Thoughts

I've got a book. Excession by Iain M.Banks. It occurred to me, while I was reading it, that it's been so long since I just took a book and read it. A book, not my own writing, nor a piece of fanfic, or a beta, or anything at all fangirl-related. Just a book.

How odd. I've been in various fandoms for the last four years or so, and it's only just beginning to hit me.
