raven: [hello my name is] and a silhouette image of a raven (pentacle)
So, watched the Shawshank Redemption. I loved it, on so many levels. But Pedar wants to watch it with me later on, so I'll save my comments for then.
In the morning, Becca and I watched Four Weddings and a Funeral. I love that film to death, always have, but I only recently discovered what they were implying all the way through - two of the characters were gay, and hell, that explains a lot.
T'was fun, today and yesterday, and I got feedback, which is all that's needed to send me into an attack of warm fuzziness.
I needed it, I think. I had a bizarre nightmare, that was dark and morbid with all kinds of undertones, and I hated it. My dreams tend to be on a grand fantasy epic scale, but last night's involved me having some sort of disability. I think I was deaf, but it's hard to remember, and all I wanted was to find my mother, but I needed to catch a train, and because I couldn't hear anything I wasn't sure what train to catch, and in the end it started getting dark, and I was in the middle of nowhere with no-one to help me.
In the end I just got on a random train because it was warm, unlike the station platform, and it turned out to be the right one, going to a station called "Woodstone" which I somehow knew was the right place to go. I was so relieved I just started crying on the train, and it was about then I woke up and I could hear...
Anyway. That is not the point.
I forgot to tape Friends for Pedar. Nevermind. I should be typing Kajol, but I can't - instead, I've just been typing this and an idea for a new fic - I love the return of new plot bunnies.

Oh, yeah - I borrowed one of Becca's CDs, and it has a brief Buffy soundbite on it. Is it true Joyce had sex with Giles on the hood of a police car when they were both teenagers?
