Are you Dave Gorman?
Jul. 14th, 2002 12:22 amI now have eight livejournal icons. Two to go...
Went out today with Becca - we stayed in town for about five hours, which is a very, very long time considering we weren't in town for any particular reason.
I enjoyed it - bought a pendant, which I love so much it is now one of my icons, and also Northern Lights, a book I've wanted for some time now to complete the trilogy in the wrong order.
Becca bought Are you Dave Gorman? which is a very funny book, relating the adventures of one man named Dave Gorman, his mate Danny, and their quest to travel the world searching for people called Dave Gorman. They found 173 people named Dave Gorman, two of which had changed their names by deed poll and were in fact women.
Strange, but true and very funny.
Parents still hate each other. They went to see Devdas, which Pedar has now written to Empire about, but I don't think the letter will be published because of how different it is from Empire's own irreverent style. Ah, it's his own fault he didn't listen to me, me being "the wonderfullest person" who has ever been and all.
And these are the icons, as I have very little else to do:
