I have a friend. The friend's name is Emily. Emily has a sister. The sister's name is Alice.
*clears throat* Okay, what have we learnt so far?
To go on, Emily is coming to SG-5 with me! For the uninitiated, SG-5 is a Stargate convention in October. I'm extremely excited about it! But to go back to Alice - it's her birthday this weekend, and she's having a sleepover with about ten thirteen year olds - I pity Emily, really I do. But her parenst are making it up to her by paying for her SG-5 ticket - and mine! And Clare's! I can't wait! We need costumes, and so I put out a plea - does anyone know where I can get a hell of a lot of black feathers before October 26th 2002? I have to put up a passable imitation of Xe'els, the shape-shifty raven thingit!
I hate the stereotype of sci-fi fans - we are not sad and weird - just very obssessed - and we wear weird costumes - and I just had a discussion with Enid about the brilliance of the Stargate ep Message in a Bottle, and the scariness *eep* facto of Neelix off Voyager! He's scary... I don't like him... he freaks me out - Enid says he freaks her out as well. Anyway... so far there is nothing to report this mnorning. Becca, update your livejournal!

I have actually been doing some biology revision tonight. It feels very strange, as I've never done any work in my entire life. This is true. I'm a lazy cow who does no work and relies on a reputation that precedes her.
I've spent the rest of my time making icons for my livejournal. I'm actually getting the hang of it - I've now got about seven pics uploaded, mostly Stargate ones but a few others - I'm very happy about it. Of course, I now have no idea which one to set as my default icon. Probaly the one from 1969, but I'm not sure....
