Talking of...
Mar. 28th, 2003 10:06 pmAwww. Just got a message from
lilka and
emerald_embers. Wish I was there. They said they miss their slasher-in-arms. I don't know if that's as in comrade-in-arms, or as in babe-in-arms, but I really don't care either way. Mmfle. Love them.
Talking of slashers,
_detroit thinks it will be a good idea to give a piece of fanfic to Bryanny Olive. I don't know if I've ever mentioned this before... anyway, she is one of Them. Yes. She's a heathen - innocent baby-face, too much eyeshadow, a voice that is nauseating in its humble sweetness, and annoyingly persistent. Ever since I gave that talk of mine on fanfic, she's been bugging me.
_detroit recommends I give her something scary and then she'll never bother me again. She's requested I don't give her anything featuring "stories involving homosexuals, like, you know," so I rather think I'll give her "Scent" and hopefully she won't understand it in the slightest. Plus it's my own favourite out of all my fics...
Talking of all my fic, I finally got around to uploading it to ff.net, and it has got a couple of reviews so far, but it always surprises me that people ask for more. Does the fic not sound finished? Does the line, "...and war is hell, but love ain't heaven, oh, no," somehow imply there's another six thousand words to come?
Ah, I won't grizzle. I was lucky to get nice reviews.
Talking of ff.net, I've been considering putting myself up for column-writing. It's a monthly column, and I think even I can make that much time in the months to come. Of course, the problems are the fact I'd have to think up a general themse and title for the column, write up two to show them, and hope they think I'm good enough for 'em. Although... some of the ff.net dictums are really quite arrogant, considering. There's the ban on NC-17 a while ago, randomly enforced because some moron who was apparently above reading ratings complained. And in their requirements for columnists, they want people who are "good enough." Darlings, if you took the average fanfic off the site and used it as material for the columns, they'd probably begin "OMG!" proceed to "well heres my colum what shal i rite about" and conclude with "lol soz not gud at dis r&rlol!!11!!"
Talking of...
Nope. No obvious connection comes to mind.
I need a drink.
