I ought to be working, I guess. I don't really feel like it. When do I ever, true, but right now I would like to go to sleep somewhere. Sadly, I don't think I can do that. I'm not tired, really, just meh. What a wonderfully expressive word "meh" is. Describes so much in just three letters.

I've been forced to think about things today, mainly because of _detroit. I appreciate her more than she knows, I think. I also know that by writing this I may be inducing her to despair of me. What can I say except I don't find it easy to talk, but then she knew that.

I will do my maths paper and then eat something, and then go to bed, I think. My parents have gone out somewhere, and so it's nice and quiet.
