"What in?" sayeth I, the ever-cautious.
"Methodists."
Methodists?
Anyone care to clear this up? He's in Savannah, Georgia, and refuses to explain further. I said it could be worse. He could be in Salt Lake City. For some reason he found that utterly hilarious.
I have now done my Chemistry. Although... looking back over the last few pages of notes, I am constantly searching for the morality in the equations. The morality. Not the goddamn molarity, oh, no. I'm still doing it, but cannae be bothered going back through with an ink eraser. It's not as if she's gonna notice. Mrs Williams, that is. Helena informed me today that to tell them apart, she's going to refer to them as Fanny Williams and Lurch Williams. I was amused.
Anyway, yes. Molarity. I seem to have learned how to do it using the logical method. There was a formula, too, but "Those of you who are naturally scientific and doing it for A-level shouldn't use the formula," so I didn't. I don't know about being naturally scientific. The woman's delusional. She did tell me at the time how pleased she was that I was doing Chemistry, and proceeded to sign the Politics section of the form, instead. She wrote down an apology. My application form was the most annotated one in the year.
So... five of those questions, and I threw the book down, considered doing the notes on the bakeries and fullonicas {sp} of Pompeii, but could not be bothered. I watched the M*A*S*H ep Hawk's Nightmare again, was pleasantly disturbed, and here I am again.
Will go and watch Jonathan Creek - I taped it over Hawk's Nightmare, so it had better be worth watching, even though I don't think the end of it has taped, so I am just a little annoyed. Grisly murder mysteries are all very well, but when you don't see the end and never discover what actually happened.... gah.
I apologise for the relentless updates. If I were a free user, I would have used up my quota by now, which is a little worrying.
