I really, really love that M*A*S*H episode, simply because I can't see how they made it work as well as they did. I mean, getting Hawk injured fairly badly is always a plus. But the way it all flows... the concussion makes every event of Hawk's life come spilling out, which is fun, and I remember watching it the last time while chatting to [livejournal.com profile] purplerainbow, and we were giggling about the whole Sol and Sol's delicatessen thing. ("They were brothers. Never figured out why their parents gave them the same name.") And the title of the episode sums it up perfectly.

God, this was a geeky post.

Just as I typed that, Pedar yelled, "Iona! Do you want your blood pressure taken!"
Never a one to refuse such things, I toddled into the kitchen. He had his black bag out. It isn't actually black, any more - it's brown leather - but somehow that's how I think of it. He taught me how to take a person's blood pressure, systolic then diastolic, though I don't think I'm very good. My own blood pressure is 100 over 60. Well, y'learn something new every day...

Fantastic episode. Never would have worked if Hawkeye didn't love the sound of his own voice. ;) The entire episode is great. I love when he's talking about his teacher. And the speech on human life with the juggling? Lovely.

Ah, I know. He's so cute when he's concussed. Also, when he's not concussed. *hits self on head* Good episode.
