ravenI went into the village this afternoon, and had my faith in humanity restored by one of the guys working at the level crossing. Incidentally, the level crossing is barred to all traffic, because they're relaying the track and it looks like a bombsite. So, I rode onto the station platform, got off my bike, and was just about to begin the long haul up the footbridge when some guy came over and asked, "Do you need a hand, love?"
More than a hand... he basically carried the bike over the bridge for me, and was all don't-mention-it when I thanked him. So, thus heartened, I went on to the village. My dogtags are now engraved, so I'm pleased.
What else? Watched Voyager and a bit of Stargate... I do still love those shows, it's just been a while.
And I'm bored now.
