(no subject)
May. 3rd, 2002 08:41 pmI just wrote the longest entry ever. It could have rivalled the Enclopaedia Britannica for length, depth, and subjects covered. And then of course, the computer went funny. A computer crashes by freezing up and refusing to do anything, right? But no, this went really weird. The song in the media player started going waaaaay too fast and seizing up, I couldn't get onto any websites, and the CPU started making these weird "pip!" noises every time I touched the mouse. I was scared, so I pressed reboot and lost the longest lj entry in the world. So now I don't dare play any music - though I am downloading Silverchair - Greatest View - and it's too quiet. Don't like it! It's all creepy! I can hear the trees and the birds cause the windows are open, and everything is freaking me out a bit.
I've always been afraid that one day there'll be a really huge thunderstorm, and one of the trees in the pinewoods will come crashing through the roof and straight into my room! There's a reason why I'm at the top of the house!
And failing that, what if the sea came inland? This is the first house it would hit! Somehow, I don't think this house scores well in the "Location, location, location" stakes. Yeah, it's pretty, but there are so many things out to get you!
I have decided I need to do something to my room. I love it, obviously, but I'm bored of it. It's been like this for aeons. Changing the posters might be an idea.... but I can'tbe bothered and I've run out of blu-tack.
What CD to put in the player? I haven't got my Silverchair one any more, thanks to a certain person, and I don't feel like Travis or Staind and all the other CDs are in the library and I'd have to actually get up and walk to find them. The library is a complete tip at the moment. It's reached saturation point again and my dad is talking about putting the books in the loft - nooooooo! They'd get all dusty and horrible and that wouldn't be nice *sob*
Have to go and do something now - I forget what. And a word to the wise - watch Frasier tonight. I watched tonight's ep when I was in Chicago, and I cried laughing. You have been warned *mimes music from Psycho*
