Bored.
Bored bored bored.
I don't feel like doing anything. Which is a pity as I have a tonne of work hanging over my head on a thin red thread.
But I don't care. I'm bored. And have just realised I can't get out of PE tomorrow, as I've forged notes two weeks running. Pedar says he will sign the bottom of a whole stack of bits of paper for me, so I can fill in whatever I like at the top. But he's gone somewhere tonight, so I can't ask him, and besides someone might notice I haven't done PE for the last six weeks.
Ah, the blessings of weak ankles. They get you out of everything.
But am now bored. Have been bored constantly for days now, which might account for any moodswings/erratic behaviour/normalcy.
I recently found out "normalcy" was a word invented by the US president Warren Harding. I also recently found out that when Harding died, the capital-letter-phobic poet e.e. cummings said, "The only man I have ever known who could make seven grammatical errors in a simple declarative sentence is dead."
Bored. So bored.
Am not leaving spaces between paragraphs.
Bored.

Wanna upset the PE instructor and make certain they never pressure you to do PE again? Go to one class, start the exercise and then scream and fall over exclaiming that you've turned the aforementioned weak ankles. They don't much like the idea of having to take responsibility for a fragile student (I'm only half kidding ;> )

I hadn't known that the word normalcy was invented by an American president. As for ee cummings --- Pot. kettle. black. He's probably one of my least favorite poets as he makes absolutely no sense and reading him always gave me a headache.

I've never read him. But I did think there was something strange about the word "normalcy" - I mean, you never hear it here, only in America. And there I always thought the noun to go with the adjective should be "normality"...

My thinking and spelling must be European, then! "Normalcy" sounds terribly; I've always used "normality". But then....when I was in school, they were always trying to correct my spelling too (which is decidedly British in nature for no apparent reason).
