A case of mistaken identity

I have been watching M*A*S*H and probably made a complete mess of my chemistry, as I was doing both at the same time. In the words offlickgc, Hawkeye really is lovely, even when he isn't being slashy. I just never saw him as the type of person to have a love-of-his-life - if my grammar's gone to hell, I apologise.
Something occurred to me when I was lying in bed last night.... it was about the sample pages from the M*A*S*H book. There was a description given of Hawkeye. He is described as being "slightly over six feet tall, with a slight stoop to his shoulders. He wore glasses, and his blonde-brown hair needed cutting."
That's not Hawkeye! That's Daniel!
No, really. Daniel Jackson, who else?
