Still in Sydney, kids. Haven't even looked at friends page or inbox in five days (I'm in the airport now; this is a free 15-min internet service). See you all in, oh, twenty-four hours or so. I'm tired and I haven't even started; thankfully have invested in paperback of Monstrous Regiment to hold sanity over the next day or so.

Gate 32, off we go.

Hey, if my maths is right with the time zones (and it probably isn't, I've been up that long) I think we were flying at about the same time! Ours was a 12-hour flight from the Indian Ocean across Dubai, Iran (and very near Baghdad and Basra but not actually over them, LOL!) and across Europe. If yours went that way too then it would have been flying within a few hours of each other.

My brain is mush, I've had about three hours sleep in two days, and suddenly I'm an insomniac! And there's no food in the house!

I think you're right. I was flying pretty continuously for all that time, so we probably were! I got your postcard, by the way. Very pretty! I'm glad you had a good time.

Glad you had a good time too! :)

I only had a four hour difference to get used to but it's turned me into an insomniac who can't sleep for more than three or four hours at a time!
