I have a new project for the summer.

Read all one hundred books that were voted for in the BBC's Big Read. The list is here. I could do it. I'll have two months, and besides, I've already read thirty-eight of the hundred. Lots of them are books I want to read, so why not?

It will keep me distracted. And amused.

Hopefully.

Emma and Enid are suggesting I go and see Something Corporate on the 22nd June. I'd like to. Just don't want to see fucking support bands. They all suck.

I think I'm currently in love with OK Go. And the Goo Goo Dolls.

Nirvana were being played on VH1 Classic earlier. The end of the world is nigh.

But I imagine we've read very different ones, which makes it rather interesting. I didn't realise that this list was there, I am rather tempted to do the same thing as you and read them all. Would you like someone to keep you company on the journey?

Oh, that would be brilliant. It would be fun if it were a combined effort, wouldn't it?

And whoo for OK Go and the Dolls, but you couldn't find two bands who were more different, could you? I was watching the video for Iris earlier and realised I'm in love with the main guy. He looks like a girl. I'm so predictable.

I tried to listen to The Fix is In again today, after hearing you raving about it again, but the damn thing won't work. I'll probably have to download it once again... :(

Which ones have you read? Together we've probably read the majority!
