I'm having a crappy day. Here, have fic.

hathy_col and I shared out a Doctor Who plot bunny between us. Simply put, we wanted to know what happened to Susan, her husband and her family, and what if Nine went back as One promised to? Her story, "Doing Domestic", had a deliciously angsty spin on it, and I remarked at the time that the story I had written had a completely different but a similary angsty bent to it. I had written this then - I wrote it nearly two years ago - but wanted to work on it. I never really did, but looking at it now, it's a self-contained story that I actually quite like. Anyway. Feedback is adored.
