Miscellany
Jan. 15th, 2006 09:02 pmAfter the slow-motion horror that was last night, everything seems to have shaken back into equilibrium for today. I think, anyway. I guess it's better not to ask, and just let things be okay for now. My week is still quite calm, but I have to start going to lectures tomorrow, and it is going to be dire. I have a class from five to seven, which means I will miss dinner, and probably won't be able to get across to Holywell Manor in time for DocSoc and The Christmas Invasion. I have it on the laptop and can watch it whenever, but it's just not the same.
Um, more meme top fives: ( top five things that are green )

( and top five things to do when procrastinating )
There were supposed to be auditions for the Vagina Monologues in college today, but they got cancelled for some reason. I was disappointed, because I'd really quite like to audtion. I wouldn't be any good, because I really, really can't act, but I'd like to be involved. I guess I'll go later in the week. In the end the only thing I really did today beyond more free will and determinism (having peeled myself out of bed after one anyway) was make a little headway on the housing situation. The college Welfare and Housing Officer is naturally called Doctor Who for short, and the sign of his office is a sonic screwdriver. I didn't pay any attention through the meeting, because I was too busy pressing the little button and watching it buzz. It gave me joy.
Um. I should go and do work. And I think I'd like to do something for my birthday this week, but I don't know what.
