Parties and other stuff
Sep. 23rd, 2003 05:23 pmAll the days seem to be merging together. I kept on thinking it was Monday today. It might be something to do with the fact I haven't been in school on a Tuesday for a couple of weeks or so.
Becca's planning a party for her birthday - which reminds me, I need to get her a present at the weekend. Anyone feel like coming with me into town? Because if not, I'll go on my own. Anyway, her birthday is the fourth of October, a Saturday, and she has yet to inform her parents that she wants to invite about a dozen people over. She does say that she thinks they'll agree, because of Thomas having about thirty people over, people who apparently "broke things." Becca's own guest list runs as follows:
Not on LJ:
Meg
Kat
Bev
Lucinda
Gemma
Emma (Wood)
Nicola
On LJ:
me
purplerainbow
shipperkitten
osiris13
enguarde
cucharita
But none of that is confirmed yet. Anyway. Today. Which was far from interesting. The weather was beautiful. Clean and clear and cold, and the radiators have come on in school, which is remarkable because generally they stay off all winter and come on in June. The weather stayed beautiful until I reached Blundellsands station, where the sky remained blue but it started raining hard enough to drench me. Five miles down the line, at Freshfield, clear and dry. Crosby is just weird, weather-wise.
And if I can cease talking about irrelevant things for a moment, I have a feeling I'm reaching a turning point. Yet another fight with my mother this morning, but I don't know - maybe something is changing. No more of a stalemate, in other words.
I'm not talking about that any more.
Back to irrelevance. Maybe not so irrelevant, but my phone is definitely caput (don't tell me it means "head" in Latin, I already know). It probably can't be fixed. So, meh. Looks like I'm going to have to acquire a new one from somewhere. I can still send and receive texts at the moment, though. That's all for now. I'm hungry.
