Non-starter

The party was a non-starter. That is, it never started. No-one could come, and by the time the logistics were sorted out it was simply too late. Megan's great plan is to go out tonight. Out as in out to Southport. To the Code, I think - her, Becca, Charlene and all the others. Not Katrina, of course. Becca rang me up to tell me about it merely as a gesture; I don't want to go, it sounds like hell. But they're going. I hope they enjoy themselves.

Becca also rang to ask if I wanted to go to town with her and Meg. I would have gone, if the BT people hadn't been coming. They never came, so I could have gone, but that's just the way it happened. I've done nothing all day.

People are all talking about results. On that note, thank you, everyone who commented on my previous post, I appreciated it. You all rock. So does everyone else who got their results yesterday. Without exception, you all did brilliantly.

Pedar wants to know why I'm not more excited about my results. I don't know. I don't know anything.

Fic only

I write a lot of fiction, in a quite a few fandoms, but it's never all been collected in one place, mainly because I hate building and maintaining websites and am crap at it besides. When I'm asked to give a personal website, I invariably give this journal. And from that, the solution presents itself, and I don't know how I didn't see it before. I'm going to make a fiction-only journal; I have an abundance of codes at present, so why not?

The problem is a username. I wanted corvus_corax, but someone already has it. I'll have to think about it, I suppose.
