raven: [hello my name is] and a silhouette image of a raven (punk rock princess)
Crappy day so far. Started at twenty to eight this morning when I dropped and smashed the CD case for Diorama, and went gradually downhill fromt there on in. Mrs Williams is still an anal retentive, currently pissed off because of the fact my scarf is white and my gloves are red. Ah, disaster.

And then I started remembering things. Like the fact [livejournal.com profile] purplerainbow will never read this. And the fact she probably doesn't even know I bought the Something Corporate tickets.

And then there was my maths result. Mrs Jopling was unusually calm about it. I have a feeling she's passed through howling rage and furious insanity and emerged on the other side a new person.
She said I "wasn't bad."
72%. Probably an A.

And I have French, Biology and History still to come. According to Becca, who seems to know my timetable better than I do.
In the manner of things coming full circle lately, I've got my timetable for my actual GCSEs. Starting May 21st and then going to the 17th June, I have more exams to come, and they're not even that far away.

Ah, well. Whatever.

Three more sets of results. I was pleasantly surprised by Biology. 90%, which is an actual improvement on June - and the A* grade boundary is only 72%.
French was another shock. It isn't marked in percent, it's marked according to how many points (maximum eight) that you get in the four areas, so 32 in total. I got 30, exactly on the A* grade boundary.
History. Well, I couldn't decide whether to be happy or not with it. Because on the one hand, it is an improvement of about ten percent, up to 79%. But on the other hand, it's still crap. And the grade boundary is at 80%.
So yes.
I have posted another fic to mash-slash.
I am bored.
And tired.
And vaguely uncaring.

There were some things that were fun about today. Oddly, I ended up spending a lot of time with [livejournal.com profile] cucharita, [livejournal.com profile] _vertigo and Becca, all at the same time. Slash came up in the conversation, as did the utter horrific-ness of what has happened to [livejournal.com profile] purplerainbow, and also Punk Rock Princess.

Even Enid, who has never actually met her, is cut up about our "loss" of Hannah. And it is a loss... without the internet, Hannah would still be random blonde girl I had met all of four times. Becca wants to meet her. She says she sounds nice. And she is. Of course, she is. They all are.
Enid and Emma and Becca and Hannah... they all are.

I have less people to hate. I am not alone in thinking everyone sucks, but there exceptions to every rule and it's in collecting the exceptions that I feel loved.

I'm done philosophising for the day. How are you?
