2002; Good things and bad things
Jan. 2nd, 2003 10:26 amStarting from today and for the next eight days, I am going to have a lot of time to update this journal. Which is why my life will cease to be remotely interesting until January 9th.
In the meantime - I think I will follow the trend and say something about 2002. Simply, five good things and five bad things:
Five Good Things:
Five Bad Things:
The end.
I want to sneak out later, but there's nowhere I could actually go. Although I do want to get some books from the library, which closes at one, which means I have to have set my mind to it by twelve.
Oh, well. I will go now, and be back entirely too soon...
In the meantime - I think I will follow the trend and say something about 2002. Simply, five good things and five bad things:
Five Good Things:
- This journal. Sounds stupid, but it was one of the better decisions I've ever made, to actually keep a journal and stick with it.
- A general sense of being happy to be me. Somehow I hadn't been hiding my weirdness in 2002. Long may it continue.
- Meeting
purplerainbow and getting to know
lilka properly. I don't make friends easily and when I do I'm a perfectionist. Two new friends in one year, that's an achievement.
- I'm still writing. And I know now I will never stop.
- Christmas Day and Christmas Eve. I think I've found somewhere else I want to live. On the roof of the world, or, dhunyia ke chuth pe.
Five Bad Things:
- Leaving Stargate fandom in such an incredibly messy way. It wasn't something I wanted to do, it was something I had to do.
- Being screwed over. Several times. Didn't do anything to diffuse my ongoing paranoia.
- The first two weeks of July. I think I fell into a spiral of hysterical paranoia and unhappiness for just a fortnight... and snapped out of it again later.
- My family's various upheavals. "It hasn't been a good year," my mother said on the stroke of midnight. She was right.
- GCSEs and all that crap. I am not revising, and I should be.
The end.
I want to sneak out later, but there's nowhere I could actually go. Although I do want to get some books from the library, which closes at one, which means I have to have set my mind to it by twelve.
Oh, well. I will go now, and be back entirely too soon...
