Filler

Am planning to make new icons... however I am also being good, by revising, which sucks. I hate having to learn imperial units and their conversion factors when they are in all honesty a pile of crap. I mean, who honestly cares how many pints there are in a gallon and how many ounces are in a pound? T'is stupid. And pointless. ANd stupid again.

I'm feeling somewhat bored and dissatisfied with life. I don't want to feel my life revolves around exams and mocks and revision, but it does. And when I'm not doing them - exams, that is - it doesn't revolve around anything, so basically I have no purpose. I was born, I will die, and the years in between are just filler.

This may be me being pessimistic, but I don't know what I'm here for and that bother me. I don't know why they bother trying to educate me either, when I don't know why I'm here at all.

Vampire

Huh. I'm bored.
Greatly so. I was just asked to entertain eniddy - she knows how I did it - and I'm still bored. So...
I have learnt that I've labelled the two tapes wrong. The one labelled "Mostly M*A*S*H" actually has three season 6 Stargate eps on it, and the one labelled "Stargate SG--1" with an extra long hyphen because my pen slipped, actually has six early M*A*S*H eps on it. At least, I'm presuming it does. Em hasn't watched it yet. If it turns out to be something else entirely (possibly Lone Star or The Usual Suspects) then I can only conclude I've lost the tape, and I really do hope that isn't the case.
Pedar and I were watching M*A*S*H earlier ourselves, together with popcorn, because one of the episodes was the Christmas one with strings of popcorn everywhere, so my mother started feeling a desire for popcorn of our own, which of course I had to provide. I just know that when I go back into the kitchen there'll be none left.
Anyway. There were two episodes, one where Hawkeye turns vampire, and the Christmas one. I liked it partly for slashy moments - "If I don't see you again, you know? Merry Christmas," - but mainly for the look on that guy's face when Santa Claus descends out of the sky and proceeds to operate on him.

Wonder if there's any popcorn left?

So what do I do now? Revise?

Rebellion

I just spent forty-five minutes on the phone to Becca. We talked of many things, of cabbages and kings, but the body of it was the fact Katrina's not going into town tomorrow. So I am going to be a little rebel, and sneak out of the house when my mother has gone. She'll be busy all day, apparently, so I just hope she doesn't take it into her head to call me at all. I did wonder what I could do to avoid being recognised - Becca's suggestion was to "Wear normal clothes" - but let's just say I won't be away long. Three hours at the most, I can't stay longer as I'll have to be back before my mother is.
I find it very amusing that Katrina can't go. Apparently her dear mummy is worried about her orals and thinks she should stay at home and revise. Poor Katrina, when all she wanted was to go into town and go Christmas shopping with Becca and Megan and dear Charlene.
I am a dirty little bitch.
So, Becca's texting me later. Should be fun, if I can go, and avoid my mother like the plague.
We're hopefully taking Megan to Subway. Another sandwich, yay!

Yet another one...

New layout. Nothing fancy, but I was sick of fancy-ness. Hopefully simple and clean - though I'm still ironing out a few wrinkles. Amazing how it's just as difficult to make a good-looking simple layout as it is to make a fancy one.
