raven: [hello my name is] and a silhouette image of a raven (suicide is painless)
So... to those who wondered when I crawled out of bed this morning, it was at about eleven, and that was only because of There but for the Grace of God. That episode gets better and better every time I see it. And the wonderful last scene - Daniel in foetal position, bleeding and shrieking about the Goa'uld - is just... well, wonderful.
Pedar accidentally took the day off today, and so we went to Southport, wandered around a lot and talked. Mostly, we seemed to be talking about the alternate reality theory (probably because of TBFTGOG) and the news. We were listening to the radio and getting through a lot of newspapers, because basically, Princess Diana's butler Paul Burrell has been acquitted, so he won't stand up in court and say potentially embarrassing things about the royal family. If they've started screwing with the criminal justice system in this godforsaken country, I think it's time they got rid of the monarchy. After all, they have had no actual power since 1207.
And the other thing - Pedar and I went to see My Big Fat Greek Wedding. It wasn't a great film. It wasn't even a good one. But still, I think it worked - they got the audience to care about what happened to the heroine, the hero had long hair, and I was further confirmed in my belief that if I ever get married, it will be in Hawaii, or some such place. In fact, anywhere more than seven thousand miles from New Delhi will do.
So I guess that's all. I feel really strange - shaky and ill, and I can't explain it. Maybe I am ill. That would account for rather a lot of things, not least my rapidly approaching insanity.
The M*A*S*H episode Welcome to Korea is on tonight. I think I should go and watch it, and try not to worry about conspiracy theories and the monarchy and the fact my legs appear to be incapable of supporting me any more.
That's it. I have a banana milkshake. I'm going to go and drink it and try to stop shaking. It's like I'm in withdrawal.

So... Welcome to Korea. Depressing. Lots of guns and people bleeding. Ferretface in charge. Trapper's "message" to Hawkeye, though... mmmm. Nice. And can anyone care to explain why Hawkeye was taking a shower fully dressed? I missed the first part. Strange episode. Strange.
