raven: [hello my name is] and a silhouette image of a raven (raven)
I am bored. Very bored. I am reading TNG versus Microsoft jokes.

Whatever

Yes, a quiz. Anyway. I liked this one because the picture is pretty, though I believe I have commented somewhere about dilithium crystals.

You are 33% geek
You are a geek liaison, which means you go both ways. You can hang out with normal people or you can hang out with geeks which means you often have geeks as friends and/or have a job where you have to mediate between geeks and normal people. This is an important role and one of which you should be proud. In fact, you can make a good deal of money as a translator.

Normal: Tell our geek we need him to work this weekend.

You [to Geek]: We need more than that, Scotty. You'll have to stay until you can squeeze more outta them engines!

Geek [to You]: I'm givin' her all she's got, Captain, but we need more dilithium crystals!

You [to Normal]: He wants to know if he gets overtime.

I think Pedar is really worried about me. It's sweet, but not really necessary. I don't think he knows I like having me here - he never bothers me in any way, but he's there. Another heartbeat in the house, as someone said.
In other news, the fucking BT engineers did not turn up. It's not that I expected them too, particularly, but it merely showcases how incompetent they really are. And what makes it worse is they have the monopoly - there's no other company we can get broadband services from.
Today has been worse than usual in the not-doing-anything stakes. I've just descended into Trekkiness and boredom and all the usual crap. I'm now firmly ensconced in the Enterprise fandom, but there isn't much of a fandom yet - I guess it's only a matter of time.
I seem to be getting obsessed with those mix song thingits - Nirvana's Smells like Teen Spirit mixed with Bootylicious is hilarious. So is Eninem (the Real Slim Shady) mixed with Britney Spears singing Oops I did it again - it's oddly compelling. But the really weird thing is Christina Aguilera (sp?) singing Genie in a Bottle, mixed with the Strokes. I really love it - not as in I find it funny, but as in I really like it and want to listen to it. I'm not having much luck downloading it, though.

Does anyone know where I can download Trillian?
