Ack.
Well, I didn't go to the To Kill a Mockingbird auditions, but Bev went to give Becca moral support, and
cucharita went too. According to her journal she was raven-hunting at lunch, but I never saw her. Which is strange.
I was dreading my English Lit exam. I always find the most nerve-wracking part to be when the English teachers frisk our books and anthologies, looking for too much annotation. It's okay with Mockingbird, as I never annotate it anyway, but the anthology is a different story. Of course, they never have any problems with my miniscule handwriting, but it freaks me out when they flip through it.
The essay on the book was all right... and oddly, so was the poetry. I will say no more. I never know how well I've done in English exams. They unnerve me.
So, yes. Becca and Bev had to wait for Ella, as she had extra time for the exam, so I left without them. Just before I went, Bev gave a Bev-shriek, that is, "Aieeeeeeeee!"
It's amazing what you get used to, if you hear it often enough.
"What?" I asked.
"It's your birthday on Monday!"
I think it was for Becca's benefit more than mine, as Bev is having a fit of organisation, and has not only bought a present for me, she has wrapped it, which would all be very organised if she wasn't bringing in a Christmas present on Monday for me as well, seeing as how she's forgotten every day this term.
So, yes. It's my birthday in three days, it's Friday, ten exams down, five to go, I discovered a new talent today (I can do a southern accent! Yayness!) and I'm going bag customising tomorrow.
I am in a good mood.
Not flying, exactly, but in a good mood.
[In honour of its being Friday, there is no key revision fact on the whiteboard. I rubbed out the history dates, and it now says, "I saw Colonel Flagg when he was in Las Vegas as a showgirl!"
