"Oh, come on, sweet catastrophe..."

I am sitting in the computer room wasting time, along with lilka and and emerald_embers. So far we have gloried in our grammar whore status, worked out various Fog Indexes, read a twisted fairy-tale and watched a Weebl and Bob love story.
So, I have a free morning... no lessons until later, so life is good and will continue to be so for the next hour and a half.
I thought about finishing Kajol this morning, but I don't want to, really. I hate doing it, but I promised my mother it'd be done by the time she came back. She will be back on November 16th, and I haven't done any of it.
I don't like the whole leaving-spaces-between-paragraphs thing, especially when my paragraphs are as short as this. I need new paragraphs every few seconds to keep my thoughts in some semblance of order.
These IT lessons are amusing. Teenybopper people's ignorance of all things technological is always amusing.
Surprisingly, I already had emails from purplerainbow and snowdrop24 this morning - they're in lessons by now, no doubt.

Something fairly strange happened this morning. I was in the middle of trying to help Becca with a volume-of-sphere problem, when Yusra sidled up to me.
"Iona..."
"Yes..." I said, with no inflection.
"Would you... do something for me?"
"What?" said I, suddenly suspicious.
"Wouldyouwriteasongformeanadmyband?"
"What?!"
"Would you write a song for me and my band?"

It would appear that Yusra does have a band, and she needs a songwriter. I was kinda flattered - it's the first time anyone has ever requested my services...
So, I think I will write her a song. I have no idea how to go about it, but it can't be impossible... right?
Right?

I have a feeling all of this may be the reason I have some words from the Something Corporate song The Formal Weather Pattern in my head.
