I felt like a fraud with the academic/professional interests thing as well (although I dutifully listed my professional interests on our school's website, including things like "redefining literacy for the 21st century" - wtf?). But you can say whatever you like. You're coming from Oxford - my guess is that everyone is going to be terrified of you (in a totally admiring way) anyway. ;)
