To be fair to Oxford, something I haven't been being, its definition of "English literature" is definitely wider than mine! It's probably not quite Anglophone - the other comments on this post discuss it extensively! - but it's something approching it.
Is it the case, then, that comp lit must be studied separately, like the_acrobat does? Or is nominally a part of every English course?
