I'm pretty sure pogrebin is Indian; she'd slid out of fandom, but has been making some posts since DH came out. And firebird5, who was my first beta, though I don't think she's active any more. They are/were both HP fandom. Wish I could help you out more :/ I've heard anecdotally that there's a lot of SFF written in various Indian languages, but I wouldn't know how to ferret it out, and of course there's no guarantee that it would appeal to you.
