Economics done intuitively doesn't faze me that much, but maths is vital, I'm beginning to think; without it you don't know anything at all. It's not that I object to learning it, per se, I object to learning it in six weeks whilst also doing two essays a week.
I think I might ask for your help pretty soon. Actually, there's one question I've got right off: is 1/(x1/2) the same as x-1/2? Thank you.
I'm going to use a proper textbook over the holiday and see if it helps, because while I am supposed to be working from it, the maths workbook is a steaming pile of crap. Excuse my language, but it is; it's clearly been written by mathematicians for mathematicians, who just don't remember what it's like not to know it.
