More coffee; and stuff
Jan. 18th, 2004 05:29 pmSo, my LJ seems to have fixed itself. It can only be a good thing.
Yesterday, Pedar and I went into Liverpool, because he had decided that he ought to take me with him if he wanted any chance of getting me something I wanted for my birthday. I was all for this idea, and we went and got stuff. I won't specify what we bought, because I'm trying to forget it all before my actual birthday, but I did take Pedar to Quiggins and he responded admirably. Unlike my mother, who had fits, he was calm, measured and liberal about the whole experience.
And today. Today was definitely fun. I went out with Patrick; he's home because rugby was cancelled. We had coffee again. Talked again. And more happened; and it was fun. "Fun" is my word for the day. I also seem to be losing the ability to engage in complex sentence structure. which is strange when you consider how much I like commas as a general thing.
Patrick, unfortunately, does not come back home for a fortnight. Nevermind.
Now, Politics essays. Lovely.
