Peace in our time

Nice day. I actually enjoyed it. Peace in our time will never be achieved, but I have peace in my world, my time, my little sphere. Just for now. And it's nice.
I walk through a strange world. I have strange friends. But I think more and more I begin to realise how lucky I am in my friends, and I now understand that no-one has "lots" of friends. The people who do have acquaintances, not friends. I have Pedar. I have
chanandlerbong. I have
cucharita,
megegan,
_detroit,
purplerainbow,
osiris13,
snowdrop24,
lilka and
emerald_embers. That makes me lucky.
And that's just in real life. Online, there's so many others.
Anyone who thought they might see something of me at the weekend, however... I think I may be incommunicado. I plan to do very little except lurk, because I have no energy. Pedar gets back on Sunday, but he doesn't go back to work until Tuesday, so I have a feeling he may think of something for me on Monday afternoon (dental appointment? opticians?) so he can get me out of school and we can go and do something, probably involving coffee.
In the meantime... I think I have decided what to wear on Friday, I have a tonne of work to do but I don't care, and I've just realised I have about eleven weeks before I have to sit my GCSEs, but I don't care about that either... no, really, not today.
Found out today that the average British GCSE grade is a D.
Um. Wow.
And that is all, thank you.

I could be your heroin...
... you could be my heroine.
You could be my heroin."
