Galentine's Day redux

I had a terrible couple of weeks there - migraines are terrible; pain is terrible; February lasting into March is terrible - so Galentine's Day got away from me a little, but here we are and I have finally the whole crop of stories. Here's what y'all asked for:

-For [livejournal.com profile] littlered2, who wanted something about Buffy and Faith, Faith;

-For [livejournal.com profile] radialarch, who wanted something about Dana from Welcome To Night Vale or the faceless old woman who lives in your home, almost there;

-For [personal profile] lamentables, [personal profile] musesfool and [personal profile] leiascully, who all wanted something Brooklyn Nine-Nine in general or Diaz/Santiago in particular, Sovereign District;

-For [personal profile] such_heights, who wanted maybe Senator Knope instituting Galentine's Day as a state holiday, where February is thirteen months long (note: this one is sad! I mean, way sadder than I expected it was going to be!);

-For [personal profile] hedda62, who wanted something about Anna and Ellen from Slings & Arrows, collateral damage;

-For [personal profile] philomytha, who wanted something about the other Lesley, Lesley May from Rivers of London, soft-serve;

-For [personal profile] soupytwist, who wanted something about BREAKFAST FOOD and naturally got something about Leslie Knope, a triptych on breakfast food; (I have decided this one is in the same universe as [personal profile] such_heights' story above, but happier!).

And that's a wrap. I am so pleased to have so many beautiful and talented women in my life; thank you all.

These are all lovely (to qualify, all those in the fandoms I know that I read, but I'm sure actually all). And I read mine again and still adore it. Thank you and happy endless Galentine's Day! Empathies on the migraine and February front. I've been fighting off both all week.

Oh, the Galentine's Day one was sad. I really should have taken your word for it. (Why did I read it at work? Stupid quiet enquiry desk shift encouraging me to read things and make myself sad.) It was also great, however.

Lesley and Nightingale bonding is lovely and adorable and makes my heart ache a bit.

April doesn't feel bad about it until later, when she sees the squeamish, shrieking gentleness with which Leslie returns the creatures to the soil.
LESLIE. <3

These are all so great, and I love them. Thank you! I'm sorry to hear about the migraines; they need to go away and stop bothering you immediately.

(By the way, I know you are really busy, and I have things on just about every weekend of this month, so perhaps this won't be for ages, but you and A should come round at some point, if it is feasible.)

Ah, thank you! I'm glad you liked all these. :) I have no earthly idea why the Galentine's Day one turned out so sad - I think it was the sort of mood I was in, but still, you'd think a story about Galentine's Day becoming a state holiday would of necessity not be sad!

It would be very nice to come round some time soon, and thank you - A and I are also busy a lot of weekends soon, but we should plan something anyway. <3

Well, the possibility of Galentine's Day becoming a state holiday was a very happy-making one; it was just that it was seen against a background of TRAGIC BLEAKNESS. (But there are still such lovely moments; April trying to protect Leslie from people, and Ann and Leslie's relationship, and Galentine's Day balloons and confetti.)

Yay - actual planning can wait, but meeting up at some point would be lovely.
