Soup and writing fanfic really do make everything better. Still can't seem to sleep though. The next batch:

for avendya, Vorkosigan apocalypse fic (mostly Miles and Ekaterin)

for musesfool, Sirius/Remus, amnesia (oh OTP of my heart, etc.)

for avanti_90, Aral and Alys, historical AU

for doomlizard, Cabin Pressure, Martin, Douglas and Carolyn and accidental-baby-acquisition

Again, they vary in length from drabbles to full-length stories.

Vaguely relatedly, at least to the Simon-and-Alys-visit-the-Planet-of-the-Indians story in the last post, forthwritten now thinks I should write a whole novel about INDIANS IN SPAAAAACE.

(Quite my favourite things about week-before-last's Doctor Who was the INDIANS IN SPACE.) Everything is better with extra Indians. I mean, have you met Indians. We're hilarious.

We're pretty cool though.

I haven't watched Goodness Gracious Me for ages; thank you for the clip! (I have fond childhood memories of watching it with my parents, although I have a feeling that at the age of nine or ten I wasn't hugely up on cultural stereotypes, so might have missed a lot.) My dad will be graduating from the University of Sussex at the end of this year, so might get to meet Sanjeev Bhaskar at the ceremony. This excites me.

I haven't even done a terrestrial triathlon! How lazy of me.

It's lovely! L got it for me one birthday and we spent a lot of gleeful hours rewatching it, and now it's not on DVD any more! Very very sad. I am genuinely thrilled that your dad gets to meet Sanjeev Bhaskar. That's AMAZING.

Well, there goes my vague contemplation of buying the DVDs at some point. Hurrah for Youtube! And yes, I find it really exciting! (Ooh, there is a picture of him hugging a graduand on the Sussex website (www.sussex.ac.uk/graduation/index). Please, please let him hug my dad.)

The planet of the Indians was excellent! I always did wonder where they were in the Vorkoverse!
