Why?!

I just spent the whole evening working on Kajol. Just now, I got fed up and decided to stop for the evening. I closed it, it asked me if I wanted to save changes, and I clicked no! Why? Why why why??!! I've never felt like such a complete moron before...
WHY??!
And I can't get it back, because the computer only safeguards against mechanical stupidity, not human stupidity. What the hell was I thinking?!
Why???
