I have to admit, I am still irresistibly reminded of The X-Files. With the odd difference that I much prefer the mytharc episodes to the monster of the week ones!

(Also, I forgot to mention, despite the fact I have no fucking clue what's even going on with him, I love the Observer and I really don't want him to turn out to be a bad guy. I want him to be enigmatic jalopeno-eating on-the-side-of-right dude! yes I have feelings.)
