Just FYI: I have no phone at the moment. Or indeed wallet, keys or iPod, railcard, oystercard, three days' worth of notes and three memory sticks, because my bag was stolen from right under me tonight by some total fucker in a pub.

Graaargh. shimgray and sebastienne looked after me, I am fine, they are only THINGS, graaargh (and I didn't even burst into tears until I realised Shim's birthday present was gone). Anyway, if you're trying to ring me and I'm not answering, that's why.

Christ. Losing the wallet and other property is bad enough, but the notes and memory sticks are what would really chap my ass. Property can be repurchased, but lost data can be irretrievable...

Luckily, some of it has turned up - apparently I threw my notes all over the floor before I went out that night! But yeah, that's the fourth memory stick gone this year. It sucks.
