A statement.

I'm trying to write a "personal statement" for my Medlink forms.

The question is, "Why do you want to read medicine?"

I have written:

I want to read medicine because...
Why do I want to read medicine?
Why?
I want to be a doctor primarily because
I hate this.

That sounds familiar. I went through a similar thought process when applying to my state university last month, though I didn't write it down. (I probably would have forgotten to change it.)

You ought to send it in as is. Maybe they'll appreciate your honesty. :)

*grins* Let's hope so. I haven't written anything else since I wrote that; maybe in the hobbies section, I should write, "My main hobby is writing crap in my weblog."
