Last times
May. 14th, 2003 05:02 pmHave you ever... um... walked down a long road in the afternoon, in May, with books weighing you down and the Velvet Underground in your ears, underneath a lot of trees with green leaves so they cast dappled shadows on top of you, and had a sudden feeling everything you've ever known and called familiar is beginning to change?
Today was our last day but one. A few last things - like no more French or Maths lessons, ever, and similiarly for Biology if I'm lucky. Tomorrow is the actual last day, Friday we're going to Alton Towers, and then study leave begins and it really is all over. Then exams (first two are a week tomorrow) and more study leave, more exams, again and again until June 17th. We have Physics that morning, and that afternoon, I'm going into Liverpool to get my hair dipped red, and no-one's stopping me.
And that's everything, I guess. I'm not going into detail because nothing detail-worthy happened, but I'm tired now, and rather screwed up, because while I'm looking forward to everything that's about to change, I have this bizarre desire to cling on to the "last times."
Yes, tired now.
